Grandma’s Vanilla Paska — a taste of home and Easter tradition
Inspired by the traditional paska many of us remember from childhood — the one prepared by grandmothers in quiet village kitchens in the days before Easter. Slowly made by hand, patiently chilled overnight, and brought to the table as the centerpiece of the celebration table.
At its heart lies real farmer’s tvorog, the traditional curd cheese that gives this paska its delicate, creamy texture and rich, comforting flavor. Infused with fragrant Bourbon vanilla, the smooth curd base is generously filled with a blend of carefully selected dried fruits — golden and dark raisins, tender apricots, and bright cranberries.
The fruits are slowly soaked in golden rum, becoming soft, aromatic, and beautifully rich, adding depth and gentle sweetness to every slice.
This paska is our tribute to those Easter traditions — to grandmothers, village kitchens, and family tables filled with warmth, stories, and celebration.
